Structure–Properties Relationship for Polyolefin Materials

Dr. Takumitsu Kida mainly studies about the structure–properties relationships for polyolefin materials.

Recently, we have investigated the following topics:

Influences of molecular weight and its distribution on morphology and mechanical properties for polyolefins.
Microscopic deformation mechanism of polyolefins under a uniaxial stretching process using Raman spectroscopy.
Flow-Induced crystallization behavior of polymer materials.
Development of evaluation method of degradation behavior of polymers using IR and Raman spectroscopy.
Synthesis and mechanical analysis of cyclic olefin copolymer (COC).
